A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to United States wasn't in the master plan. As with many international relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something much more significant.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, higher expectations. Routine tasks felt more puzzling than they should.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Quartz Current Tangent
Most online information was either corporate-level relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance grounded in real life in United States.
